← plein air sketch No2. Sat with the same view on a very bright afternoon. Intense blocks again plein air sketch bk No 4. Same view using charcoal. Not sure how successful, but perhaps useful if I take the group towards a studio painting. →

The watercolour gives a bit more fluidity – interesting to see how different media change the image
