I have tried using pastels but cannot bear the texture and the sound as they are applied! So this is using Inktense sticks and then a wet paintbrush. →

Michael Kirkby on April 8, 2024 at 6:17 pm I do these by making an acrylic abstract underpainting. When thats dry I apply oil/cold wax over paint then use palet knife or card strip to reveal in whatever way I fancy! Thanks so much for your comments Log in to Reply
