Louise Balaam - Monthly Landscape Painting
I really like it too Jo – I like the areas of subdued colour but with interesting brushwork (and maybe palette knife marks? ) – set off beautifully by smaller areas of blue and vivid orange. I can relate to that ‘What am I doing? feeling but it’s actually such a healthy thing to be trying something new and not knowing what will happen. This is a really nice painting, well done!
I like it, it has atmosphere and character in abundance . The orange ‘focal point’ is a little close to the edge perhaps, but I’m being picky. Well done.
