On this course, you will be painting straight away and encouraged to embrace this exciting technique of creating expressive marks with thick paint and a single brush.
Tim will demonstrate how to develop a consistent visual language based on accurate observation and strong draftsmanship. His method will give you the freedom and confidence to experiment with paint, empowering you to create work with striking depth and complexity using a very simple set of materials.

Tim Benson is a renowned figurative and landscape painter known for his expressive use of oil paint and his ability to capture both the likeness and character of his subjects. In this online course, I hope you’ll discover a fresh approach to painting.
