About The Course

ABOUT THE COURSE

Join Ann Gardner for 3 months of online mentoring & feedback sessions as well as ongoing support through a Whatsapp group. This is three months of in-depth and personalised support, guidance and encouragement, providing a framework to progress your practice over the programme, through presenting and discussing your work in a supportive and constructive atmosphere with fellow artists. Advice and guidance will be tailored to each artist’s needs.  Numbers will be capped at 6 participants so that each artist will have a generous amount of time to present their work. Monthly Zoom sessions will be facilitated by Ann Gardner. Participants may present a maximum of 3-4 paintings each time, plus some supporting work – drawings, sketchbooks etc. Encouragement and advice will be given for work to be done during each month, between the sessions, and an ongoing group email conversation will provide space for an informal exchange and discussion of ideas, questions, issues, etc.  Being part of a small group of fellow artists provides a hugely valuable sense of community and a source of constructive critique over an extended period of time, which can really help you take your work to the next level. This three months of mentoring aims to build confidence and support the development and progress of each artist. The programme is open to artists at any stage in their career. Zoom sessions 2025
– Sunday February 9th
– Sunday March 9th
– Sunday April 6th
From 3 pm to 6 pm UK time
Total – 9 hours on zoom, plus ongoing group Whatsapp conversation & support.
Maximum of 6 participants.  Booking essential.

Ann Gardner

Ann lives and works in France but her paintings have taken her afar, and in turn given her a perspective she can call her own. At the age of eighteen she gained a place at The Slade School of Fine Art. Ann was fortunate to be taught by Euan Uglow ,Lucien Freud , Patrick George , William Coldstream and Cragie Atchinson.
