Hi Elizabeth, I like your painting. I can almost feel the movement in the clouds. I understand having to keep pushing a painting forwards; note to self, keep going!
Thank you Louise. I have gone back into it since and I am a bit happier. This one ran and ran. Think I am finished now!
Hi Elizabeth, it’s looking good I think – I like the high horizon and the limited palette. You’ve tackled a good-sized canvas very well. My only comment would be that the dark area in the foreground stops rather abruptly, it might work if some of that tone came forward a bit to echo the darker areas in the sky. Well done for pushing the painting forwards!
