    Hi, yes using 140gsm cartridge paper, gesso first and then an acrylic ground. Not sure what the long term prospects are for oil on paper, maybe Louise can comment on this?

    Your commenta lovely painting. Im about to ave a go at using oils, Louise suggested using cartridge paper , is this what you’re using?

    Are you using cartridge paper? I was looking at oil painting pads online last night and did think about getting one.
    I like the wild sky and the sheep are a great addition to give scale to the painting. I really like that buff colour on the right lower part of the sky. Nice feeling of distance too in the landscape.
