← Following Louise’s recommendation, I bought a 2nd edition of David Hornung’s colour theory . Having studied sculpture, this is a definite weak point. First exercise – chromatic greys (both broad and narrow value/hues). Dear Louise, I’m very grateful for your lessons on freeing up, painting with speed and energy, trying not to think of what the landscape actually looks like. I’m having alot of difficulty doing that, but it has helped me a great deal in freeing me, moving away from the detail that locks me down. Really like these transcriptions Jeremy, the pastel colours really glow against the coloured paper
