Hmmm I didnt have time to paint beyond about 10 mins this morning, but felt the need to do something. So, as I was listening to the nightingale singing in the hedge I remembered a homework about doing something out of our comfort zone. Here it is, the hedgerow of song….10 mins of paint applied with my left hand, lots of twigs ( which were loitering on my desk wondering what to do with themselves) to scratch the surface and some oil pastels. I stopped when I could feel I was laughing – loudly. Great fun & such an interesting exercise. Must use my left hand more often….it’s really interesting what appears

What a great exercise Karen & a beautiful little study which came out of your 10mins! Really interesting and varied paint marks and a lovely sense of light against the dark hedge.
