I made a still life with a small frame (aperture?) and I tried a set up with warmer light than I usually do. I tried to be mindful of the space, front to back etc, but I find that hard :) I really liked the Claudia Carr painting you showed us and I wanted to try painting a “white” object. That is also why the other still life I posted had a curled up white towel

← Also worked on some watercolour portraits, an ongoing series. I’d really like to do these in a less defined way I feel I’ve over explained rather than suggesting. The Drawing and the underpainting. I feel I need to recalibrate my pallet colors I kind of rushed it and did not put a lot of thought into it. I’m going to limit it and repaint as soon as it’s tacky. →
