    You can apply a sealant as they won’t dry out properly, or frame them under glass. I really like the effects you made with them Jane.

    I can’t use ordinary pastels as they send shivers through me (like finger nails down a blackboard!). These water soluble oil sticks have lovely colours and are quiet to use! They are easy to blend/ paint over with water to soften the lines, but I don’t know how to make them harden/dry, so not sure how long lasting they would be – think they will stay oily and liable to smudging! You can scratch into them too .

    How do you find the water soluble oil pastels compared with ordinary pastels Jane? I really like the lines along with the soft water area.
