A lovely study Ann, it really brings out the large number of subtle blue-grey mixes compared to a small area of zingy yellows and warmer browns. The relative area of particular colours is often very important in structuring the painting. Glad you enjoyed the process and found it useful getting to know Hitchens’ work.
