The woods near a wetland not too far from my house; a couple snow-covered rocks. Watercolor sketch with charcoal and a smoosh of acrylic ink(the ink after I got home). The snow was really too wet to sit on, even with my little pad, so I practiced trying to keep everything together and dry while standing up.

I really like this Rachel, you’ve captured the feeling of the cold & wet. Well done for adapting to the conditions- sometimes you have to stand up but it’s tricky managing all your materials. You can get watercolour palettes with a ring underneath so you can hold it on one hand which can be useful
