← Been experimenting with cold wax mixed with oil paint – imaginary landscape. On board Painted many years ago on small wood panel 12x 8″. I am trying to replicate it but on a much larger canvas and using a palette knife. Sadly my attempts have lost the freshness of the original. I am inclined to look at it for a good while and then have a go at reproducing it without looking at the original again. I have also forgotten where in Venice I made this oil sketch. Perhaps sommeone migh trecognise the place. →
