Diptych- (2) 6"x6" oil | wood panels- I composed this image using still footage ( "Beaches" movie) of Bette Midler and Barbara Hershey, dropping them into the Crystal Cove background of the scene's location. Essentially the color is somewhat made up. Wish to get feedback on the color. I prefer the muted whites on Barbara Hershey's (left) hat/blanket suggesting more of an overcast day- On the other hand, when I stepped back, the whites of Bette Midler's turban and robe are too bright, as well as the sand (mid ground) and reds in the foreground seem too saturated. Appreciate thoughts. thx.
