← You know how I love trees especially in woodlands and forests. I created this in watercolour first, then added indian and acrylic inks with hand cut bamboo dip pens in an abstract manner. This was imagined and memorised from the many hours spent in woodlands last summer, sketching and painting. I am slowly trying to change my methods of working from plein air start to finish oil paintings, to sketching out doors, and finishing from memory back in the studio. Sketched in a field this evening lovely light appeared after a rather dull day. First time I used Chinese ink plus watercolour. →
