← Here’s another attempt at a Turner, Shore and Sky, Sunset c1835 watercolour over pencil. I don’t yet have the finesse that Turner had with watercolour, which I spent c15 years practicing with. I havent used it for the last 4 years, so i’m enjoying trying to remember how to work with them again. Château de Blois, Loire Valley c.1828–30 . My interpretation of a Turner painting – Some challenging detail in this piece, Turner Grey paper from Ruscombe Mill in France, watercolour and some body colour (gouache) as in Turner’s original work in Tate Britain. →
