Here’s another attempt at a Turner, Shore and Sky, Sunset c1835 watercolour over pencil. I don’t yet have the finesse that Turner had with watercolour, which I spent c15 years practicing with. I havent used it for the last 4 years, so i’m enjoying trying to remember how to work with them again.

    I think watercolour is a very difficult medium – Turner was a master of course. You’re handling it very well!
