Here is my latest watercolour, I’m still trying to paint from memory and imagination, rather than from life. Had fun with colour in this one, starting with a vague idea and a quick sketch, I’m quite pleased with the result. I will do February’s excercise when I get my oils out again in March.

    A good result Julian! – you’ve used tone very successfully to create a sense of space, & I like the way the eye is led into the middle distance, past the foreground trees
