Linear drawing Painting The Portrait Sketch with Andrew James Linear drawing Skills Posted on May 22, 2024 ← This oil painting 90 x 90 cm has been turned to the wall for many months . I have now looked at it again in light of Louise’s latest lesson on analysing your own work. I see a focal point of lightest light and darkest dark and wonder if there is sufficient tonal variation at that point and in the painting generally .. I like the atmosphere and the brush marks but is it all a bit bland? Any comments would be appreciated Stormy Seas acrylic →
