← This is the last painting I did – it’s quite recent, a remembering of the summer. It’s 60x 80 in oil mostly splurged on with a palette knife ( ok, so added, scraped off, added again, until I got fed up with it). I would love your thoughts, you all are such a great bunch of people to offer a critique. Ps – It’s good to be back here..! The other side of the river -( should be attached to the other pencil sketch!) I’m enjoying taking different materials out to sketch – each time something different to play with →

An effective use of earth colours with greens and the subtle suggestion of a reflection in the water.
