Second two panels of “Edrita Fried” in watercolour Louise Balaam - Monthly Landscape Painting Second two panels of “Edrita Fried” in watercolour Skills Posted on October 19, 2023 ← One of my favourite artists is Joan Michell. This is my attempt in watercolour to capture the intensity of her bold gestural strokes in 4 panels “Edrita Fried”. I love her affinity with Monet. Wish I could have seen the recent exhibition Here’s another attempt at a Turner, Shore and Sky, Sunset c1835 watercolour over pencil. I don’t yet have the finesse that Turner had with watercolour, which I spent c15 years practicing with. I havent used it for the last 4 years, so i’m enjoying trying to remember how to work with them again. →
