Sorry…and another one – today’s effort, still with fingers and small knife. I have no idea what to do with a brush! This one is inspired by the post on the chat about SJ Peploe – looking for & seeing colour in the landscape. Thank you for posting about the Scottish colourists!

Oh do please post one a day if you want to. I think we are learning from each other too. It is also exciting to see what everyone is doing. I just have been creating mud recently so no posting!! Well done for wearing the gloves! Our health is a precious thing!

Thank you Caroline. Im really just fumbling my way around oil paint. I think someone once said that knowing what you’re doing is over-rated…I’ll stick with that! Stupidly in my excitement at playing with the paint I forgot to add gloves, it’s not as if Louise hasn’t given us enough warnings. Today I wore them. Thank you for the concern & reminder.. i must stop posting pictures before everyone gets bored, but could happily post one a day!

Are you wearing gloves when using your fingers in the oil paint. Many colours especially the cadmium range are toxic and shouldn’t get on your skin. I always wear gloves to paint.
    Your oils are lovely!
