← Hello everyone – I’m back after an end of year break. It’s so good to get back to sketching & drawing again, I havent attempted any paintings yet, but will get to doing something soon. In the meantime I’ve posted a few sketches using different materials, ( at least I hope I have). I’ve so enjoyed using as many different media that I can scrounge & borrow & buy….& fascinating to see how each opens up something very different in how I capture a moment. Charcoal & eraser, inktense sticks, watercolour, and acrylics & acrylic inks. It’ll be interesting to play more with each of these & mix them all up A quick outdoor sketch using watercolour and graphite capturing the coast at the end of the day →

Such a good practice to do lots of quick sketches – these give you a range of colour and compositional ideas to work from. Very nice mark-making!
