← In progress painting I am making as part of an in person painting class. Acrylic on cardboard Moving on to a finished painting: second pass. Briefly, the green areas in the sky were de-emphasised but retained; the vertical brush marks on the left were removed and the sky was given more tonal range. I attempted to use a right brain approach when making the changes although I probably lapsed back into my usual thinking mode now and again. The marks in the sky tend to be in one direction and I’m still deciding how to add variety to that. Many thanks Louise and others for very useful feedback. →
