I know, I know, another one after I said I’d stop! I love the colours & feel of this one, I like the sky & the foreground but I think I’ve messed up the middle part – the distance & horizon. It seems to lack contrast & definition & has lost a bit of something somewhere along the process. Maybe I’ve just overdone the ‘finger blending” ? I’ll sit with it for a while before deciding what to do that’s best for it – unless it’s terminal. No matter if it is, tomorrow is another day to play..

    Lots of energy here Karen, I like the diagonal blue area in the sky. I think the colours and tones in the middle distance work very well, not too contrasty and a bit paler – watch out for too much blending though, it can lead to a loss of energy and a feeling of not being sure in that part of the painting.
